Banshee XChat track announcement script
March 21, 2010 - 4:07pm — jensenA long time ago Banshee changed its DBus back-end. None of the available XChat announcement scripts seem to have converted to the new new backend. I spend hours trying to find one and half an hour creating my own one. It initially had some issues with detecting Banshee at startup or checking whether Banshee had been closed when XChat was still running.
I had some requests for it and spend some time fixing those issues and attached version 1.1. Save it in your ~/.xchat2 folder as banshee.py.
